FOREST SCHOOL

FOREST SCHOOL is an innovative educational approach and a wonderful way of helping children to learn about Nature and about themselves, while developing many skills and improving physical and mental health. It creates a space in which children as well as adults can truly reconnect with Nature and experience and build empathy for the natural world including the plants, the trees, the animals, and the Earth herself.
Our FOREST SCHOOL sessions take place at a stunning location in the Lough Grainey valley in county Clare, at an ancient oak woodland and species-rich grasslands and wildflower meadows.
Marina is a certified Forest School leader and member of IFSA (Irish Forest School Association). She and other facilitators at Lough Grainey Forest School are Garda vetted and certified in Remote First Aid.
Marina is also a Heritage in Schools specialist with the Heritage Council.
