Bookings

(1) Forest After School on Wednesdays (Co-ed)
Nature arts & crafts, woodland walks, circle time and singing,
den-building, Nature games, roasting marshmallows on a fire, storytelling, l
earning to use simple and safe tools,
Forest School tea, 
and so much more!

This is a programme of 4 weekly Forest After School sessions (co-ed) for children ages 6 - 10 yrs. 

It will take place on Wednesdays,

DROP OFF 3.30pm, PICK UP 5.45pm. 

These sessions are led by Marina Levitina, a fully qualified Forest School Leader with many years of experience of working with children and teaching about native Irish flora and biodiversity. Marina is a Heritage in Schools specialist with the Heritage Council of Ireland, and has delivered many school visits to thousands of primary school children in counties Clare and Galway over the past several years. Marina also delivers Forest School sessions for primary schools.

Parents of every participating child will have to sign a Consent Form on the first day of Forest School. 

On Day 1 there will be a short Registration session and parents will be invited to visit the Forest School site and facilities.

Note: For those living locally, we will hold an Open Day for parents to visit our Forest School site. If interested in attending please contact Marina at WildPlantsCanSing@gmail.com to inquire about the next Open Day date.

Sessions take place outdoors. Children need to have appropriate clothing (wellies, waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers) to ensure they can play outdoors in comfort. We go out in all weathers except when there is a weather warning. There is a rain shelter up, and a compost toilet facility is available on site.

We have a Leave no Trace policy, so we don't leave rubbish behind.

(2) Forest School on Saturdays for Girls
Flower lotions and potions, forest jewellery making,
clay sculptures, circle time and singing, Nature games, making Forest School tea, learning to use simple and safe tools for woodland crafts, and a lot more!

This is a programme of 4 weekly Forest School sessions for Girls ages 6 - 10 yrs, that offers all the benefits of Forest School plus the deeply valuable girls-only space.  These sessions aim to empower girls and young women to develop to their fullest potential in the inspiring, creative and holistic environment of Forest School. Activities will include flower essences, lotions and potions, forest jewellery making, clay art, circle time and singing, Nature games, making Forest School tea, learning to use simple and safe tools, and a lot more!

Each session takes place on Saturdays,

DROP OFF 10.30am, PICK UP 12.45pm

Cost for the entire programme (5 sessions): €100 (€20 per session).
